Here’s a pic of one of Vancouver’s historic Interurban trains. I love these trains, when you ride ‘em it feels like they’re going at super lightning fast speeds (which is like wicked cool) though thery’re really just chugging at some 50 km/h. (that’s like 30 mph for all you fellow imperial peeps.:P)

50 is still quite fast, I’d say. Are they still used though, or is that just for the tourists?

Well.. technically it should be for tourists as it only runs during the summer, but then again I know a few people who work on granville island and they take the trolley instead of the bus.
The ticket costs the same as a normal bus ticket but if you get on the last run, they’ll let you in for free..
