Fantasy Gardens, Richmond.
Knock knock.
I’ve always loved this place. (And no it’s not some sort of pornographic video shop in the middle of Broadway and Renfrew.
) It’s actually a big market square with a huge hollandesque windmill. What really pulled me into taking this photo was the contrast in texture and colour and the mysteriousness of a closed door. Heck, maybe there really is a sex toy shop.

I took this picture a while back. Last summer I think. The guy was a driver of one of Vancouver’s old Interurbans. We had a conversation over the rising gas prices. Interesting person.
